What data we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site and general location (country level). No personally identifiable information is collected. Analytics only runs after you have given cookie consent.

Newsletter and email

If you sign up to our newsletter we collect your name and email address. This is stored with Kit (ConvertKit) and used to send travel guides, blog updates and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Purchases

If you purchase a digital guide, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your email address to deliver your download. We do not store card details. Your email is used only to send your purchase confirmation and download link via Resend.

Cookies

We use one first-party cookie to store your cookie consent preference. Google Analytics sets additional cookies only if you accept. No advertising or tracking cookies are used without consent.

How we use your data

  • To deliver digital purchases
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default settings.
